Infographic: Female entrepreneurs in Africa

This awesome Friday infographic by Ivan Colic over at Afrographique shows the number of female entrepreneurs who've embarked on own-businessing in Africa, based on World Bank enterprise surveys between 2006 and 2010. I'd like to think in the two years since 2010 that these numbers have increased dramatically, despite the tricksy economic circumstances we've all been eyeballing. Perhaps in the next few surveys, South African female business owners will get their own "line of achievement" on the map and have a solid enough representation not to have to share accolades with Nigeria, for whom I hope the same. Have a restful, recharging weekend and we'll meet more amazing, innovative entrepreneurs next week.

I found this nifty infographic on Pinterest which simplified life for me right now as I've a tendency to overthink things and worry myself into a coma - especially where work's concerned. It was pinned from a site called Awesomephilia but they didn't attribute it to the original creator, which I'd love to do, so if you're that person, please email me and I'll give you all the glory :) So have a break from reading this weekend, chill and we'll meet more awesome entrepreneurs next week!
